Hi Robert! Thank God someone is tweaking X-Fi drivers :)
I'm using your latest X-Fi driver, it's working well (have an X-Fi Titanium sb0880)

I'm working on an openal project which uses 3d mono sources, I would like to play 5
distinct mono sources, but there is delay in playback between the channels
when using "alSourcePlayv" and "alSourcePausev" (the delay is always changing).
According to the openal developers, the problem is caused by the soundcard's driver
because the "Generic Software" implemenation works well.

Is it possible to fix this thing if it is caused by the X-Fi driver?

    Best Regards,
    Akos

Faar from it. Found those drivers made by those dudes:

Official kX Project Site -- News

They work like charm, unfortunately they have custom console launcher and stuff, very very very complicated - professional style. Also the echo, reverb, chorus, equaliser and other EAX effects don't work. Not to mention AlChemy.

That's why I was ask you if have something similar to the original Creative drivers, that works on Win 7 and ALSO with more than 2GB of RAM...

Regarding the other system with that X-Fi Titanium, the same problem persists: Sometimes when PC starts and boots Win 7 there is no sound, even if the sliders shows the sound is playing. 1 or 2 reboots fix that, but is getting soooooooo annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have older system bud. You really should get dual core or more :). Single core doesn't cut anymore. Sorry for no drivers :L) I just got my graphics card back :D. Will pick up driver work next week :).

Hi i need some help, what would be the best driver and software , or some combination of driver and software for my sound card. I'm not sure what model of sound card do i have i think it is Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Pro Series - SB046A with the I/O Front panel and remote. But when i go to Creative Software AutoUpdate it says it is SB X-Fi Platinum Fata1lty Champion.
    My hardware :
    PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_002C1102&REV_00
    PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&SUBSYS_002C1102
    PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&CC_040100
    PCI\VEN_1102&DEV_0005&CC_0401

The best way to know is looking at the card itself.

    aaaaa...noup. No yet.

But I've installed the original XFTI_PCDRV_LB_2_17_0007 older drivers, and works like charm. No more sound problems. So it's definitely something with XFTI_PCDRV_LB_2_17_0008 base drivers...
