I've had this problem the last few days and I cannot figure out how to fix it.

First time it happened it fixed itself after I restarted Firefox but now nothing helps, not clearing cache and cookies, not rebooting or anything.

Page works just fine in Chrome and IE.

This is what I get in Firefox:

I had this happen to me a few days ago. Hitting F5 fixed it for me each time.

My wife had this on her work laptop removing and reinstalling adblock plus (if you have it) fixed that

That might be it. I don't use adblock or anything like that.

I use Yahoo since the mid 90's. Apart from rare glitches I had perhaps once a problem with them that took more than a day or so to solve. They are pretty damn good compared to anyone else I know.

Yes, I wrote that in the first post. But, I didn't after I uninstalled the adblock so I guess I can try that again. :)

If I login manually on the web it works but whenever I click to open the mailbox from yahoo messenger this problem occurs, question is why.

And now it works as it should again without having done anything.

Unless it was my "ipconfig /flushdns" that I did to get into another site that fixed it.

I had problems with Yahoo email service one week ago, same as described in this thread. After few hours of searching for solution i just gave up. But, after few days i got back on my Yahoo account and it normally works again.
So, i think they are doing something with the email server very often. How much this email service is good?

Hmm that is interesting case. I'm wondering why isnt the quality of service the same for all users, does it depend on the country or what?

FWIW: www.tvguide.com/listings/ does the same thing initially. After spinning its gears for a few seconds, it displays the page properly.

What version of FF was giving you the problem w/ Yahoo Mail?
