Well my best and most cherished moments were when I won the Crucial Ballistix DDR2 ram and ATI 5750 graphics card.. I used to just lurk and read the forums before that.. well that is not too different from nowadays but now I'm just busy with studies, however, I discovered a great community here which is very hard to find these days.. I loved being a part of driverheave AKA hardwarheaven....

Amazing site.. Amazing people..Amazing memories!!! KUDOS!!! :D:D:cool:

I am taking care of Dad in his golden years, so still just around the block, but just working working working. And Mousey, I hope your still creating stuff, your brilliant.

It's nice to see OG people coming back! GutterPunk is one I'm most excited about seeing here!

Heck yea I still post! I'll admit not nearly as often as I'd like, but I still do. I probably post an average of 4 posts a day, and most of that is confined to just a select number of areas and specific threads like the randomness thread.

favourite memories of DriverHeaven was being 1 of the founders of DriverHeaven Medal of Honour gaming clan and how everyone on the board pulled together to get everyone that needed the Windows XP beta special upgrades for me those were special memories of the DH community .... to think I joined the board in either may or june 2002  and in those days MIG-31's handle was JohnnyBravo :p

Great read guys, one of the best threads EVER. I'm going to share it with the powers that be, and Craig in case he hasn't seen it yet.

Regarding the comments about forums vs social media. I think that it's a fair point that SM has taken over to an extent. That said, there is a lot to be said for forums too (especially for special interest stuff like hardware) but my overall feeling is you get back what you put in. If you post a lot, then others will too. :)

I agree wholeheartedly Stu, the effort that we put in will lead to the fruits that we reap.

Ah, I also remember pointing out spelling mistakes in reviews. Stu even once bet that nobody could find any spelling mistakes in one of the reviews. I won :D

so much for SM, guess I have seen it just take all the gusto out of a good site, nice to see it has not hear. In fact, have not seen trolls or weenerheads here in quite a while. I think Facebook stuff is good, just so you know...faceless. Even with our avatars and monikers the forums still have some personality. Sure cannot say that for some of the spin off sites out there.

One thing I can honestly and truly say is that Judas adds 50 to 70 percent of the gusto to this site, if Judas were ever to leave I don't know what we'd do. It'd be like PJ leaving all over again hehehe.

    only joking.

I agree, Judas is definitely prolific and really brings the left field Canadian thing right out of the North.

Pointing out grammar and spelling mistakes can sometimes be painful.... :)

The one avatar i remember the most was Roadee's with the wheelchair..
He was a really great guy, Who lived with constant pain, but never complained, I still remember clearly the day the bad News reached DH that he'd died... :-(
