I still use the 22.80's. Great for online gaming when frames are needed (yeah like 250fps is needed lol).. OGL owns on the 22.80..

29.41's so far, but I'm really starting to like the Omegadrive set too. ;) I still haven't sat down and figured out which driver is best for my rigs yet, I'm always too busy trying the latest one.

Once SoF2 comes out I'm gonna take a couple of days off and just game again! ;)

Yeah switching drivers isn't as fun as it used to be. I do it now, only when something needs to be tested. Drivers now-a-days are installed by thousands the second they are out. Usually hear all I need to hear from them lol

    Re:

for me, drivers were only fun to install when they fixed bugs. the games i play could run @ 60fps on a gfDDR :D

i started with the 12.10's, went to 12.41's, 12.60's, 12.90's and last but not least, the 21.81's. with the det4's, all of my issues were fixed. now i'm a happy little nvidiot :)

    <sigh>

Yup, I knew it. I'm weird.

I dig checking out every latest driver, I can follow the whole evolution of it. A couple of fps here, a bit better texture there; it's neat to watch. I know it's an addiction as bad as drugs or gaming, but it's probably not too harmful as long as I can always fix the computers I take "one tweak over the line". (And I've gotten very good at that over the last few years. ;) )

There's nothing wrong with sticking with a set that runs well for ya, but the world needs some psychotic guinia pigs too.

    I'll second that!

29.41s rule, but I like 'em for the zippy-as-hell openGL. JK2 never ran so good. :)

    Well

    I used the 22.80 with the 22.50 nvopengl.dll with my g3ti500
and I use the 29.41 with my g4ti4600.

I wonder if My geforce3 set(22.80mix) would perform good on my PNY ti4600???

    Good to see ya EFA11!!!!!!!!!!

    hyas all

I like the 22.80s best so far for my system:

    PIII 1 gig @ 1050
    ti500 @ core 270/memory 590
    512 megs PC133 ram
    Win ME

I get 6217 with 3DMark 2001SE. I have tried all the drivers since the 22.80s and got not as good a performance gain as the 22.80s. The new 29.41s gave me 6143 but some of the 3DMark 2001SE tests like the lights etc seemed to give faster framerates. Go figure. Hopefully sometime before I upgrade again a new driver will come to give me some more gains.

    Alright

    Geforce 256 >>>> 12.90 good drivers
    Geforce 2 line>>> 21.83 or 21.85 stable sets
    Geforce 3 line>>> 22.80 or 23.11 Opengl is good
Geforce 4 line>>> 29.42WHQL Great Opengl speed and d3d is good.
Geforce 4 for extra sharp images use the 29.41 Omega set.
