i don't want to start a war but at least for my system these drivers are the best .they r really good i'd like to know what do i guys think bout it ?wich one is the best?
I would say they are both great drivers. Both do a great job. I would say use the one that works best for you on your rig. There both top notch drivers. Myself I use the Zeropoint but the XtremeG is very good too.
well, both are quite good, as z3r0 said. I personally spend too much time within the zer0points to bring myself to use anythign else  but I do have a great deal of respect for the Xtreme G guys and their work. It's all about choices and giving users the best possible options
Thx for that man both Jrd1st and i try our best. I havent had the honor of trying your drivers yet but i will and possibly post a comparison between them when i get more time
good times. I'd almost bet money you win at 3dmark though  ...I hate that program and all it's embedded code lines...grrrr
I spend too much time working on our drivers to do a head to head comparison however in the past I've used the ExtremeG drivers and always liked them, hell Daishi and JRD1st were one of the inspirations to get into this, I hope either way you go you'd be satisfied as I know both groups put in a lot of effort to make great drivers....
Having tried both xtreme g 67.66 and the zer0point 66.97, I will tell you I didn't switch back to the xtreme g 67.66's!
lol...it depends on the card.....we take 6800s into special consideration not because we like them more, but both me and Drew have 6800s
Also, benchmarks dont take into account the IQ improvements in both ZP and XG drivers, I must admit I havent used XG drivers for a while now (Im somewhat "tied" to a certain beta program heheh ) but they are very good, As are ZP, but a comparsion would be silly. Nice fence btw, Im staying on it
....don't make me get the truck/whinch out..... but seriously, both are stellar drivers. I'm sure I can speak for Daishi/JRd1st as well when I say that so long as we make people happy and they find a driver they like, we've done our job.
Hehehe! Excellent thread! I have run both the XG's 67.66a and the ZP's 66.97. I am having a tough time deciding which I like the best! They are both great choices. I have a Chaintech 6600 GT. I do mostly Flight Sims and FPSers. With VSYNC enabled, my Acer 1912 LCD limits the FR's to 75. I think that system specifics are the key. If I had a CRT capable of higher refresh rates I might find a difference. As it is, I can't see any...... Salute to both XG and ZP. Great work both! Decon
I used extreme g's when I firstly got my gf6600gt and everytime I found bug of any sort, I crawl to zeropoints. Once new extreme g was out, I was using again until I found a bug, then back to zeropoints, repeat... Then I started using DNA and helped them a bit, but now safely back into zeropoints. My heart flows with the zer0 now.. Awesome work!
Been using Daishi's XG drivers for a few releases and they have been spot on, last ones i had 65. something were good and stable, just a tad on th slow side from his prvious version i had used. Gave the DH ZP's a go lastnight, speed is very nice, but having some issues which i created a thread on. Both are very good, and I have to say with everyone making stellar driver releases gamers and the like should be happy. Omega Nvidia/AT Unian ATI Catalyst Drivers DH ZP drivers XG Drivers Stationpoint and so on. All of you keep up the goodwork. If i left any out, pat yourself on the back, I'm just unable to remember a lot of things right now(stupid Abit IC7-G chipset fan kept me up all night going BBZZTT WRRAARRRR sounds ) can't wait for my swiftech chipset cooler and XP-90 HS to arrive, end my suffering!
Very good point That's why 3DMarks are sometimes called cow-marks  But now, guys, who think that can manage to give me THIS: ...instead of THIS...??? More comparsions there: http://trodas.wz.cz/g.php?p=detonators&d=1&v=v2 Now - anyone who dare? :taste:
