    Sup,

Has anyone tested the new Zonealarm Pro with antivirus?
I was going to BUY it and thought I'd check at Dh to see if anyone can give me a heads up on it...

    Thanks

If the ZoneAlarm you were thinking about purchasing is v5, then don't!! Version 5 has numerous problems and bugs that are messing up people's net connections! If you go to Zone Lab's homepage and go to their forum, you'll see multiple problem threads.

Most users had to revert to v4.5 to get things stable again. I, too, was a victim of v5. It took very long to load web pages and bittorrent connections were fagging out frequently.

I hear it's because Zone Labs was bought out by a different company called Check Point that screwed up some of the coding.

Anyways, what I did was uninstall ZA completely and switched over to McAfee's Personal Firewall v8. It's stable and easy to use as ZA.
